The Hearth House

Northern Ireland

A refined country home where Georgian character meets relaxed, contemporary living.

Engaged during the construction process, Ember Design Studio developed a series of interior and exterior images to help the client visualise each element.

The design direction balances the formality of the Georgian-inspired architecture with softer, more relaxed materials and furnishings. Traditional panelling, herringbone timber floors and classic joinery are layered with natural textures, warm finishes and understated contemporary pieces, creating a cohesive relationship between the more formal areas of the home and its rustic stone and barn-style elements.

Visualising the spaces at this stage allowed key decisions around finishes, lighting, furniture and architectural detailing to be explored before completion, giving the client confidence and a clearer picture of how the finished home would be.
